The Hallwyl Museum - photo excursion (part 1)

Are you visiting Stockholm City Centre and searching for interesting museums? Be sure to look for Hallwylska museet/the Hallwyl Museum/the Hallwyl House hiding from the tourist crowds. If you visit it, you will get detailed information about the life of a wealthy Swedish noble family of the late 19th - early 20th century.

At the beginning of the guided tour you will definitely show thick catalogs of all the things that are stored in the Hallwyl Museum. These catalogs were compiled by Countess Wilhelmina von Hallwyl - the museum founder. She adored collecting and cataloging. 

After that you can visit the Picture Gallery. Incidentally, the museum presents one of Scandinavia's largest collection of Dutch paintings of the 17th century.
