Stockholm shopping (part 1)

Gamla Stan's shops

Shopping - one of the points of my brief but intensive visits to Stockholm. I’d like to share my impressions about the shops of this wonderful city. Since the shopping theme is endless, my post will be long and with photos (I'll divide it in some parts).

In 2009 I was able to visit three largest department stores of Stockholm:

- Åhléns City http://www.ahlens.se/ In the same year I spend there on a fashionable bag and dress (see the photo of the bag below. And I was too lazy to pull the dress from the summer things!):

- NK. http://www.nk.se/sv/nk-stockholm/ In 2011 I bought in NK or Nordiska Kompaniet another dress (also without photo. Why? See the reason above.).

- Gallerian http://gallerian.se/ in 2010 I bought a tunic in this store. At that hot summer such clothes could be seen on most women of all ages and nationalities:

See in the next post - what shopes I liked the most and why.

  1. Is it very expensive? I've read that Oslo in Norway is the most expensive city in Europe. Obviously Norway isn't Sweden, but just wondering the comparison...

  2. Depends on what shop you're going to visit & what brand you choose. Also I know that food in Sweden is much more cheaper so a lot of Norwegians go to Sweden for it.
