Today I publish a new note from my blog rubric – “Recommendations for tourists”.
See the previous article from it – about how you can successfully organize
a trip to Scandinavia.
I want to share some recommendations about interesting Stockholm sights which are not so familiar to many tourists.
First of all I advise you to pay attention to the Hallwyl Museum with its rich collection of antiques (I repeatedly mentioned it in my blog). I especially recommend it fot tourists staying in the center of Stockholm and having at its disposal only a day or two to explore the city. This museum is conveniently located near Sergels Torg - the central Stockholm square – see its address and contact information on http://hallwylskamuseet.se/en
If you decide to visit the Hallwyl Museum in the summer, then you can see rehearsal of the opera concert in its courtyard-like – like as on the photo above.
The Museum of Ethnography (http://www.varldskulturmuseerna.se/en/etnografiskamuseet/) is no less interesting. You can visit some exhibitions like Art Treasures from Benin, Japan and so on or book a guided tour on it.
Lovers of nature and flowers certainly come to the delight of the Bergius Botanic Garden (http://www.bergianska.se/english/) and the Butterfly House/Fjärilshuset (http://fjarilshuset.se/en/).
