Our Finnish impressions (continuation 1)
July. Strawberry. In the morning the farmer with his pickup brings up the freshly picked strawberries to the shopping tray, unloads berries, which is packed in the branded packaging. Saleswoman - pretty smiling girl in a baseball cap – invites all the people to buy 2-3 kg of flavored and delicious product.
In short, we overate with strawberry! The berries were not very big, dark red and sweet...
And official smiles of sellers seemed so sincere. HEYYA friendly! – was an indispensable attribute of sellers and cashiers of any tray and a supermarket. After the purchase you get "kiitos!", Ie, "Thank you".
And a little more about the Finnish culture of service. The girl-seller at the counter in the cafe ran after us across the hall to hand us our change, about 40 cents, which we left her, but she thought that we forgot it...
