My trip to FinSweNor (part 3)

What is FinSweNor and my preparation to this trip.

Now let me tell you something about the start of our trip.

Firstly, late in the evening we were at Leningradsky railway station. We were waiting for the boarding Lev Tolstoy train (Moscow-Helsinlki). It was not comfortable waiting because of the loud sounds (the railway station was repaired) and summer heat.

Then we went to the platform and boarded the train.

Early the next morning we saw Vyborg and our mood has risen! This ancient city somehow organically combines medieval Scadinavian motives with modern times. There are houses built of boulders, narrow streets. There you can visit super-beautiful rocky landscape park Mon Repos, buy the famous Vyborg pretzels, walk along the coast of Vyborg Bay.

Finally, our train crossed the border into Finland. We read melodic names of the stations: Kouvola, Lahti, Tikkurila…
