My trip to FinSweNor (part 6)

Let’s turn from overland to marine part of our FinSweNor trip.

We quickly checked in and were on the ferry among the first passengers. After a while the Silja Serenade ferry sailed from the Finnish coast. To our complete delight, Helsinki has prepared us a farewell surprise - charming sea festival with lots of sailboats.

Then we rushed out to dinner at the restaurant "Mundo". His signature dish (delicious and cheap) - the traditional Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce.

After dinner we went for a walk on the promenade-deck and make some shopping. Then we watched a little show "Robin Hood" with variety artists from a nightclub. Many passengers were shooting videos with their dashing dancing on their phones, smart phones and other gadgets. And the smallest audience was eager to dance along with the performers.

The ferry sailed right on schedule - at 17:00. The weather was cloudy with a slight drizzle. Counter ships sailed past us with a bright glowing lights and you could see only the largest islands because of the fog. And after the evening tea party we decided to go to sleep (the weather was also conducted to sleep).

In the cloudy morning our ferry moored to the Stockholm terminal. We happily went ashore, got into a taxi and went to the Stockholm Central Station. We had to get the tickets paid previously and take the train to Stockholm-Oslo.
