My trip to FinSweNor (part 9)

The next page of our train journey via Sweden towards Oslo. We were admiring different plain landscapes.

Arboga Station. While the train was standing, we decided to have a snack. Looking at us, other passengers also began their meal.

Ancient and lovely town of Arboga – an important transport hub, the intersection of the roads E18 and E20, as well as two Swedish Railways.

Örebro Station. There is an intersection behind it. If you drive left, you can find yourself in Vasastan. Thence the terrible ghost (Carlson in the sheet, which scared pesky Fröken Bok) was flying to the Kid. Astrid Lindgren told the world about it in the everyone’s  beloved fairytale "the Kid and Carlson".

Now some words about the city of Örebro (founded in 1200). Once kings lived there – in their castle-fortress. Then, practical Swedes began to use the Royal residence as a prison. Apparently, the prisoners were pleased serving the term in the Royal apartments…

We could see the building of Plusgymnasiet from the train window. This is the educational institution for getting special professional knowledge. Some professions of its graduates: technicians-architects, designers, hairdressers, beauticians, stylists etc. After graduation young professionals can enter the university.

A lot of young people were walking on the platform of Örebro Station - students returning home after the holidays. And we waved them and drove on. And again Swedish fields...
