Tired to compete? Then let’s have a rest on the nature. On June 23 you can sit and dream with the music from summer 2017 Seurasaari bonfires (the island nature reserve, located to the west of Central Helsinki). Midsummer after all! Clear air, the smell of cut grass, blooming fireweed ... the romance!
7-9 July – Baltic Jazz Festival in Dalsbruk.
22-26 August – the sounds of jazz in the Maritime fortress of Suomenlinna - Viapori Jazz Festival 2017.
As for dances – don't miss the Helsinki Samba carnival 2017 (June 10)! Super bright summer mood is guaranteed!
Rock is your favourite music style? No problem – rock festivals will also be decent. Let's call two of the most explosive:
June 30-July 2 - Tuska Open Air Metal Festival 2017 - for fans of hard rock and metal.
11-13 Aug – Flow Festival 2017. The great number of Finnish and world-famous artists, including such "heavyweights" as Lana Del Rey, etc.
